Malcolm Harris

Founder & CEO

At Project 77, we are proud to be led by Malcolm Harris, a visionary whose leadership on and off the field has inspired countless young athletes. A native of Damascus, Maryland, Malcolm’s soccer journey is a testament to his dedication, resilience, and passion for the game.

Currently entering his 5th season in the MASL with the Harrisburg Heat, Malcolm is a proven force in professional indoor soccer. During the 2023-24 season, he played 22 games, contributing 13 goals, 5 assists, and 18 blocked shots with a .245 shot percentage. His career totals now stand at 37 goals, 35 assists, and 39 blocked shots.

Malcolm’s path to success began in high school at McDonogh School, where he earned NSCAA All-American honors, First Team All-Metro recognition, and a spot on the Montgomery County All-Decade Team. As a youth player, he won a U-15 National Championship with the Baltimore Casa Mia Bays and competed for the U.S. Youth National Teams from U-14 to U-19.

In college, Malcolm’s talent continued to shine. He started his collegiate career at the University of Denver before transferring to UMBC, where he played a pivotal role in leading the Retrievers to the NCAA Final Four and was recognized as America East's Defensive Player of the Year.

Beyond his personal achievements, Malcolm is dedicated to empowering the next generation of soccer players. As the founder of Project 77, he uses his platform to mentor and inspire youth. Year-round, he coaches two LFC teams, sharing his knowledge and instilling the values of hard work, teamwork, and resilience in his players.

Malcolm’s leadership embodies the mission of Project 77: using soccer as a tool for personal growth, opportunity, and transformation. We are honored to have him guiding our vision and helping young athletes unlock their full potential.

Youth Programs Director

Shana Harris

Shana Harris is a proud mom, entrepreneur, and community advocate who puts family and children at the heart of everything she does. As the owner of Positive Vibes Jamaican Grill, a thriving family-run catering and food truck business, Shana has built a brand that celebrates togetherness, culture, and tradition. Alongside her entrepreneurial success, she serves as the Programs & Camps Manager at the Maryland SoccerPlex, where she has dedicated over 17 years to creating enriching, high-quality programs for youth.

Shana’s passion for family and her understanding of the importance of positive experiences for children drive her work both personally and professionally. She brings this same energy to Project 77, where she combines her deep knowledge of youth programs with her commitment to helping kids thrive through sports and community engagement. Whether running her business alongside her family or organizing summer camps, Shana is a leader who knows how to connect, inspire, and get the job done. Her belief in the power of family and community is the cornerstone of her success and the lasting impact she makes.

Programs Manager, Anne Arundel County (Girls)

Kelly Young

Kelly Young is a cornerstone of the youth soccer community in Anne Arundel County, with 14 years of dedication to youth development and a reputation for being a steadfast leader. She has spent 9 years coaching, building an environment where players can excel both athletically and personally. Her focus on fostering teamwork, confidence, and leadership within her teams has made a lasting impact on her athletes, creating a culture of growth and enjoyment of the game.

In addition to coaching, Kelly has served as a team manager for 4 years, overseeing logistics and ensuring that players, families, and coaches have the resources and support they need. Her attention to detail and organizational skills allow her to seamlessly manage the intricacies of team operations, ensuring every event runs smoothly and everyone is taken care of.

Kelly also brings her leadership skills to her role as the Director of Parts at an International and IC Bus Dealership, where she is responsible for overseeing the parts division, driving efficiency, and ensuring that customers receive top-quality service. Her ability to balance these high-level responsibilities with her dedication to the soccer community showcases her exceptional work ethic and commitment to making a difference in both professional and personal spheres.

She joined Project 77 because of the organization’s mission to build youth through sport, offering kids the chance to improve their soccer skills while building character, confidence, and lasting friendships. Kelly is passionate about creating a positive and supportive environment for young athletes, guiding them not just to be better soccer players but to become well-rounded individuals. Her mentorship extends far beyond the field, as she continues to inspire and lead both on and off the pitch, earning respect and admiration from the entire community.

Kelly is truly dedicated to helping young people grow, and her influence as a coach, manager, and community leader has left an indelible mark on the lives of those she serves.

Programs Manager, Anne Arundel County (Boys)

Susan Lim

Susan Lim is more than just a leader in youth soccer—she is a passionate advocate for young athletes, dedicated to their development both on and off the field. As the Programs Manager for boys' soccer in Anne Arundel County, she works tirelessly to create opportunities that inspire, challenge, and empower the next generation of players.

Her love for the game began in childhood, watching World Cup matches with her family and learning from relatives who played. That early passion turned into a lifelong appreciation for the sport, which only grew stronger when her own children fell in love with soccer. Wanting to nurture their enthusiasm, she became deeply involved in the game—not just as a spectator, but as a hands-on supporter, mentor, and advocate for young athletes.

For the past eight years, Susan has been an active presence in the local soccer community, always looking for ways to support players and families. She served as a team manager for two years, gaining invaluable experience in organizing team logistics, fostering a positive environment, and ensuring young athletes had the tools they needed to succeed.

She joined Project 77 because her commitment isn’t just about growing the love of the game—it’s about shaping confident, well-rounded individuals. Susan believes soccer is more than just a sport; it's a platform for teaching life skills, building character, and creating lifelong memories. She is dedicated to helping young players navigate every level of their soccer journey, ensuring they have the guidance, mentorship, and opportunities they deserve.
